Very sad to see him go.  I can barely remember being on his original show (didnt care much for the later cable version) but now he's back playing along with Mr Zing and Tuffy, and Oomagog...

They had a really cute house a block or so east of Brookside a few doors down from a friend of mine.  Their house was a little out of place because it was this little western cottage, but it was always neat as a pin.  I would see him get out of his car and wonder why he didn't have his vest and hat on when I was about 7 or 8.

Anyone ever see his movie "Cole Justice"?  Not too bad for a local production, slightly on the corny side.

He was a true Tulsa icon.

I just did a search on him on imdb, and came up with a couple of video movies. One he wrote called Cole Justice, and one he acted in called the Prize Fighter.

I had forgotten about the frog--I never could fold it like he did. 

My favorite memory of Uncle Zeb was the harmonica/name that tune game.  I remember one time a kid, after ringing the bell, came up and named, in all seriousness, "Dead Skunk in the Middle of The Road."  My sister and I laughed for days about that.
