Yes but it has been three months!!  If i don't cut my grass for three months the city calls it a nuisance.  And Fines me!  There is a reason that it is not fixed and it deals with the leadership.  Look at how bad the side roads into Jenks looks!!  And their sales tax revenue are up over 50% since 10 years ago.  Think about it!!  Is Vick an accountant??  Tight Wad.

It's government, you have to post and bid jobs. The bids just closed three weeks ago:

Jenks' Lighthouse Feature to be Repaired

A solicitation and notice for bids has been released for repair of the lighthouse entry feature located at the intersection of Main Street & "A" Street.  Bid closing is August 20.

I've got to ask where your getting your numbers.  While I don't doubt that revenues are up from a decade ago, I find 50% a bit hard to swollow without a source.

Riverwalk Crossing, the aquarium, hotel, and some new retail in the city has boosted it by a very, very good margin.  The year Riverwalk Crossing opened, I was thinking their month-over-month revenues doubled.  I might be exaggerating, but it was a huge difference.

Swake, any word on the River Development south of the Turnpike, looks like all the heavy equipment is gone.

The equipment has been gone for some time.

From what I hear, construction should start again on part of the project before the end of the year. It's going to start out smaller and be done in phases because of the economy. It's not a lack of money stopping the project, it's that most national retailers are all very scared and aren't expanding at all right now.

In other words, pretty much as we were predicting last year or whenever we last were on that thread.
