10:00 A.M. : Light rain falling.  Arc not even close to floating yet.  Having difficulty getting the male lion to stop humping the male tiger - who is too busy eating the male Giraffe I loaded last night.  On a related note:  having difficulty getting a new male giraffe.

Don't sweat it, I think you've still got time to find another giraffe.  Might be next spring before you need that ark.

Hell, I think a lot of people have already given up on this big flood.  I keep seeing these "Ark Wrecking" trucks all over town.

4:00 P.M.:  Rain is starting to pick up now.  Concerns and water level rising.  Managed to acquire an additional male giraffe.  The zoo staff is pissed and they have called the police . . . I'm going to feel bad when that guy with the bullhorn drowns to death but I already have myself and 7 women on board and that's too many humans as it is.  In other news:  the female praying mantis ate the male.

4:30 - Water level beginning to rise, arc still not floating.  There have been two tragic developments:  the female praying mantis has eaten the head of the male praying mantis.  Additionally I fear I have finally doomed the Rhino as apparently a wooden hulled arc can not hold them.  The male has released himself from his pen through the side of the arc and I fear he will certainly drown.  As an unintended benefit the police officer with the loudspeaker seems more concerned with the Rhino bashing his car than the male giraffe I saved.  Repairs have begun on the Rhino sized hole.
