OSLO – President Barack Obama won the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize on Friday for "his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples," the Norwegian Nobel Committee said, citing his outreach to the Muslim world and attempts to curb nuclear proliferation

I expected to see some post about how he was recognized by foreign members of a group founded by the inventor of packaged high explosives or something like that.

Don't worry Townsend, the moonbats are busily working on their official statements.  Stay tuned...

As an Obama supporter, I'll come out and say this is premature.

I think its more of a F U to bush/cheney than support of Obama.

And another thing, if this was an FU to Bush, then right back at ya Nobel committee!
Someone get Hoss a pacifier.

At least that is what it seemed when they gave it to Al Gore.

No no, Guido...keep trying.  You'll catch on soon.

Anyway,  I hope this helps his standing diplomatically and brings some help in international work.

Surprising how much power this affords 5 Norwegian parliament members.
