You couldn't pay me enough to go. I'll be out doing some local shopping instead.

I think there would be a price high enough to make you go.  No one cares enough about your opinion to pay the price.

Reminds me of the old joke about the old guy offering the young good looking girl a $1 million to "sleep" with him.  She says yes. Then he says how about $100.......

Never say "Whatever it takes" or "You couldn't pay me enough" unless you are really totally committed.

Hardy har har. Thanks for the advice, word police, but I think I'll continue to say and use whatever expressions or phrases I'd like.

We're pretty loose about definitions here but it does get confusing when someone writes about their goat purring at a rabbit up a tree.  (Yes, I know that's an exaggeration.)

You say that as if spooning with Sarah would suck.

If it were a freezing-weather survival situation, sacrifices could be made.

Beck was likely enthusiastic to be in backwards Oklahoma, especially after this show:

Stewart usually hits it out of the park.

Poor Beck.  I could actually tolerate him on HLN; not sure what happened...oh, the Fox handlers got hold of him.  Now he's, what's the term?

Oh yeah.  BAT-SH!T-CRAZY

Well, Beck can only blame himself for that fiasco. There were conservatives all over the place, begging Beck not to put Massa on his show. The more they digged, the more Massa looked like a lunatic.

Poor Beck?  I bet he's making more now than he did on HLN.  Even with the whole "Obama's a racist thing".  Faux would have let him go if it really was getting into their bottom line.

I know he is.  But he has the execs at Fox are at odds with each other.  Ailes says one thing, director of programming says another.  From what I've heard, sponsors are dropping like flies.

My whole point C, is that Beck is drinking the Fox KoolAid.  He was tolerable over on HLN.  They must give their on-air personalities a special 'Bat Sh!t Crazy' pill before they sign the employment contract.

It must be a little like the Matrix and blue pill/red pill.

;D

If anything HLN kept him reeled in.  I think Faux simply gave him the green light to be himself.

It's not going to get any better, since Beck started ripping into churches.

Beck's a Mormon?  I had no idea...

Yep. I heard him say so on the show before he went off the deep end 18 months ago.

He didn't say it loudly, of course, because some folks think Mormons are freaks.

I question whether or not he's a "recovering" alcoholic.

Yes, he is a little ... manic, isn't he?
