I thought everyone would like to know that persistence pays off. After contacting multiple Cox, Tivo Reps, and the FCC I have finally received an M-Card for my Tivo.  I was also told that I am the first to receive one in the Tulsa area.

What are your capabilities now, or is it too soon to tell?

I'm going to move another 1TB out of a broken TiVo into the HTPC soon

How are you moving it, by the analog RCA connections or are you moving Files?  The file route is tougher on DirecTiVos because of encryption (but not impossible) but I dont know if that's the case with stand-alone TiVos.

Nope, I haven't had a chance to play with it yet.  But it saved me from having to rent two S-Cards and going through a returning my Tivo Premiere for the Tivo HD.

Well, it would be possible to extract the files and decrypt them, but I just mean I'm going to add another terabyte of storage to my HTPC because I'm running out.  ;D

I'm glad I happened onto this thread...Good news that the M Card is now available.  Did you have to pay a service call for them to bring out the M Card?  I have a TIVO HD I've never hooked up.

Yes, they do charge for a trip. Which is stupid, because they refuse to allow you to self-install.
