Your best post ever.

Is that saying a lot?

Interesting music, visuals, and pace.

Spent New Years there....

I enjoyed that immensely. One traffic cop and even he was having fun. Chicago? or New York?

Interesting "traffic" patterns.  I couldn't see any overhead wires so I thought they were either cable cars or they got their electric power from a tunnel between the tracks (actually tried in a few places).  I don't understand how the bicycle at about 1:10 could ride along/on top of the slot unless he had really wide bicycle tires.

Good post.

What a neat neat video.  Fascinating to see the mixture of automobiles, bicycles, pedestrians and horse drawn wagons weaving around each other and the trolleys.

Great film.  Another version of it said "market Street, San Francisco, 1905"

Very cool, just wish I could get the thought of "I wonder how many traffic injuries and fatalities a year they had back then?"

No one seemed to have much of a concept about jumping out in front of moving vehicles.

You will notice folks dodging the cars if you watch closely....Not to mention the fact they did not travel or accelerate as fast as they do now.......That area was one of the busiest transit places in the world at the time....

Yeah, but Californians still drive like that with all the added acceleration  ;)

That is a fascinating vid!

IMO, people have less common sense and are ruder now than back then. Transport the modern driver there and they would be dead in minutes. LOL

WoW that is a outstanding video, the world really changed in the past 105 years. It seems like the film was "cleaned up" scratchs removed and it ran smooth, normally old films run fast and jumpy.
