Well I have not been to a concert in many a year. But OKC out did Pryor for the Rock concert of this Summer.
I am only going because I will finally get to see the Scorpions. This is their last Album and possibly the last chance I will get to see them tour.
All the rest of the line up sounds like Rocklahoma's first year. Twisted Sister, Ratt, Warrant, Dokken, Great White, Lita Ford etc.etc.....Here is the link.

Yep, you can tell it's a bunch of original long hairs putting on the show:

sgrizzle

Like how it is $5 more than rocklahoma for more "vintage" bands.

I'll save my money to see Rush at the BOK...talk about vintage.

DolfanBob

Carlton. I just found out about the Rush concert at the BOK.
Looks like a second concert in this calendar year for me.

I might have to set my watch to 4:20 for that one...

I'm going to that one for sure...found out about it Friday.

Best modern drummer on the planet...Neil Peart.

I have a clock which is stuck on 4:20, it's right twice a day.

And he never seems to make anyone's "best drummer" list.  He's definitely deserving of it.

Rush was always about the music, not the hype.  I watched them in concert on one of the music networks (I think it was Palladia) a few weeks ago.  They are still tight as ever.

No soul....bunch of Wankers.

Everything RUSH did after 1980 sucked. They are really really bad live. Their sound is so loud and so dirty I am suprised someone hasn't sued for hearing loss.

I am surprised in you...I thought only sh!tbags and losers liked RUSH. Face it fellas. RUSH will and has always blown.

I've heard Michael Buble's show's described as the same way.

All in the eye or ear of the beholder.

All that said, I prefer Moving Pictures (I must not be alone since that was their only quad platinum and did even more units than 2112- arguably their best work) and earlier the best, but they did some good work later than that.  It's simply not your cup-o-tea fotd.  But to call their fans losers and shitbags?  Really?

Ever notice how crappy the harmonies could get on live Dead recordings?  Not just the poor bootlegs?  Buncha smelly hippy losers.... at least the ones who coudn't afford patchouli  ;)

You can't compare kind people to wankers wearing mullets....next.

You go.

The meltdown is nigh...I can feel it in the air.

And fotd....get yanked.  I've liked Rush since my high school days (Exit Stage Left).

Watch this:

...and tell me his skills aren't other-worldly.  This guy is the reason I started drumming.

And their best song?

For my taste, it's YYZ.
