White boy can't catch a break.

"Race shouldn't be an issue, of course, but Gerhart can't help but believe that it has colored the opinions of at least some potential employers.

"One team I interviewed with asked me about being a white running back," Gerhart says. "They asked if it made me feel entitled, or like I felt I was a poster child for white running backs. I said, 'No, I'm just out there playing ball. I don't think about that.' I didn't really know what to say."

One longtime NFL scout insisted that Gerhart's skin color will likely prevent the Pac-10's offensive player of the year from being drafted in Thursday's first round."

I wonder how much trouble it would stir up with Je$$e Jack$on and Al $harpton if they started a white players union or white players association.

I'm not defending this scout's comments by any means.

But if this guy doesn't get drafted in the first round, it's probably because teams have much more urgent needs (O-line, defensive line, secondary) than at running back, not because it's a race thing. Anyone who watched the NFL last season noted that a lot of teams had gaping holes in those positions.

If he's truly talented and a team needs him, he'll pop up somewhere and be a star. The attrition rate in the NFL is so high, talent invariably will rise to the top.

No. There was no typo. Only an idiot would not recognize such as an excuse.

That's what I thought, you know what you are so you break down to childish name calling.  Great intellectual response there.  Have a nice day, buh bye.
