When I was in college, my friends and I noticed that people had the best conversations after about 2:00 am (unless they were too drunk to chat..).  That's when all the philosophical discussions, interesting stories, and deep thoughts took place.

We thought it would be cool if you could get paid to just sit around and think and discuss interesting topics...because we thought we had talent in this area.   ;)  (We were all getting ready to graduate and take various boring, entry-level jobs.)  As a joke, we made up fake business cards for a company called Ponder Inc.  The tagline was: "We're the ones who wonder why."

I've often pondered how you came up with that handle

I've gotta jump in here...mine is Led Zep, of course, but I have great memories of me and my dad cruising around east Tulsa in the 80's with the windows down and KMOD blaring.  I never knew what New Kids on the Block sang or any soft pop songs because I was always into classic rock.

Well, I will jump in here, too.  Nothing very interesting.  Just a nod toward Heironymous Bosch (sp?) and then something green and leafy that tastes good and has a cadence.  P to separate the two.

There are free trade magazines in industries I have worked in over the years.  Had to have a name to keep real name off the lists and could use it as a way to see who sells names and who doesn't.

Makes a great name for a pet dog, too.  Just not right now.

I don't share my thoughts because I think it will change the minds of people who think differently.  I share my thoughts to show the people who already think like me that they are not alone.

I was voting for the late 60s movie: "Can Heironymous Merkin Ever Forget Mercy......"

Good movie.
Good guess.
But no.  It's a nod toward the artist.  And he probably would have fit better in the late 60's.
