Another thread got me thinking, what are the restaurants with the best outdoor patios?  Ones that come to mind are Full Moon on Cherry Street, In The Raw both in Brookside and the hill, Polo Grill in Utica Square, Blue Moon in Brookside, Cafe Ole in Brookside, and Vintage 1740 in Sobo.  I know there are others, what are your favorites?

Hunt Club, Sound Pony, Arnies, Sonoma, Bru Haus, Crow Creek, Los Cabos, BBD II...many more

I love Los Cabos because of it's location on the river, but it gets so crowded and can be difficult to get a seat on busy nights. The hostesses don't seat the patio, so you have to linger around the tables & wait for someone to get up. Quite awkward. Are there any other patios on the river?

I suspect Blue Rose will be really popular when it opens.

At 21st & Riverside, Elwood's (adjacent to the Blue Rose site, same owner).  It's my favorite place in Tulsa to people watch as it's right on the River Parks trail, it's a great place day or night.

Also on the east bank of the river at King's Landing, Red Rock Canyon Grill has a nice outdoor patio, but it's more enclosed than Los Cabos or Elwoods.  I was disappointed Michael Fusco didn't leverage his location on the east side with a patio.

I nominate Dirty's at 2nd/Elgin for the worst outdoor patio.

I didn't even know it was there for months. A small room with three and a half walls and a roof over half of it. They've been leaving it open to the outside more lately and while there are people everywhere else in the Blue Dome, that place sits empty.

I'm not sure what the point of that place is. The only thing that would make any sense would be a smoking area, but you can smoke in the whole bar.

That surprises me, as the last time I was in Dirty's (about 2 months ago) it was packed. Albeit, it is was packed with mostly preppy, college-aged kids.

I haven't been to all of the places in this thread, but none of them are truly great patios. I've said it plenty of times before, but somebody needs to invest in a great outdoor space.

A fountain. A permanent outdoor bar. Plants. Wall murals. Just lots of layers, textures and things to look at. Love the Hunt Club's second deck, but it's still mainly just a concrete slab with picnic tables. That makes a decent patio, but definitely not a great one.

Here are some great ones.

McGurk's in St. Louis.

Silky O'Sullivan's in Memphis (photo doesn't really do it justice).

Las Fuentes in Chicago.

Cats Cats Cats

The Jenks Riverwalk (at least the businesses that are still open)

The patio along Elgin was packed? I've never seen more than one table occupied in that little patio area. To be clear, I'm talking about the area to the north of the main bar area, along elgin.

My bad, I thought you were saying that the bar was never packed. LOL.

The Daily Grill's patio is great because it is shaded from the afternoon sun and overlooks the Williams Green.

While it is a private club, Tulsa Country Club's patio is one of the best in town and has a spectacular view of downtown.

The roof top at The Mayo could take the title when it opens.

Along those lines, the patio in the Mid-Continent Building (can't remember the floor to save my life) is pretty spectacular.
