Wow, that transcends ANY of the parties I ever frequented, and I frequented some doozies back in the late 80's (one instance we removed a TV from a room in the DT Holiday Inn and chunked it on the street below from about 11 stories).

That reminds me of a letter I got from the Camelot Hotel shortly after I got married. It stated that a woman had signed for a room (my wife's name) and had partied pretty hard with a large group that broke furniture, vomited, urinated on carpets,...the whole thing. A party I would have like to have been at.

The damage was in the 1000's. The hotel security described the woman matching my wife pretty closely. I was seriously contemplating some remedial action involving lawyers and dissolution etc. He even had written down her car tags. Then I showed the guy a pic of my wife and asked him for her license tag #.

Turns out someone had used a fake license with her information on it. The girl on the license looked about 16, a good 10 years younger than my wife. The hotel had zeroxed her license and it was a pretty good fake. The car belonged to someone with a different name. They were pissed and said they would do more investigation but never heard from them again, not even a "sorry".

So, she skated on that one. We celebrated our 32 anniversary last fall.
