No great loss. I thought it was forgettable, Thomas Fees would love to be able to forget the place, I'm sure. ;)

It never seemed that busy everytime I went there, but I always attributed that to the time of day that I'd go (always around 3pm during the workweek).

I recently moved to Maplepark and enjoyed walking to Oscars for their Kobe burger and a beer. Im sad to see it go.

That is too bad, I wonder what will take its place?  That area around 18th & Boston is in need of a streetscape.  Push the angled parking closer to Boston and improve the sidewalks next to the buildings.  A few planted trees would really go a long way to improving the look of that area.  I like all the outdoor seating and mix of restaurants and bars.

I was walking to Doubleshot last Friday and noticed none other than Carlos Atilano of Senor Tequila scoping the former Oscar's site out with a handful of people.  One of the guys he was with was carrying a contractor's notebook... it'll be interesting to see what goes on there..
