Artist, what scale you selected for your old Tulsa?
Two new models: Amoco Building & Enterprise Building

Russian Sam

First Place Tower, 2nd tallest building in Tulsa. Model's height 78,5 mm.

That's alot of work, The detail would be hard to do, what materal does he use to make the buildings? I thought the City Plex Towers were the 2nd tallest buildings in Tulsa and the First Place building is in the #3 spot.  :-X

In DT tulsa, the First Place is second.  It's not like you can look at the DT skyline vs the 'Oral Roberts Skyline' and make the comparison.

I don't count Cityplex anyway since it isn't DT.  I wonder how much Oral paid the council to get THAT zoning variance...

When you're looking at the business end of Enormous Jesus, you grant variances.  It's simple business Hoss.

I was going to make a reference about what I said to Oral when he said "I need x millions dollars or I'm going to Jesus".  I just didn't feel it was appropriate.

Not being IN Tulsa he wouldn't realize that Cityplex isn't downtown.

I avoided that.  I tire of beating on a dead horse.  Until he proves his residency, he doesn't live here.

Yeah, you right and I fully agree with you. City Plex is located 8 miles from the center of downtown in a straight line. I think downtown limited 274, 51 412, 75 & 64 numbered roads and highways.
All my models made from paper.

Bank Of Oklahoma Tower. Model's height 101,5 mm. No doubt, tallest building in Tulsa and State of Oklahoma.

Sam asked me what scale I would like the 30s Tulsa to be.   Just tried to do the math and this poor artist can't figure it out lol.  Would like some sort of standard scale so that I could fairly easily find figures, lamp posts, trees, etc, for the model.  But at first blush would like the Mayo (which is 77 meters tall) to be say around 7-10 inches tall.  What standard American model scale (HO or otherwise,,,then converted to millimeters for Sam lol) would result in the Mayo being closest to the height I am wanting?

Sam...........great work, this is awesome. But tell me, how do you get the facade, like the windows to be so uniform ? Are you using a special program that prints the windows/facade to paper ?

Looks like T scale at 1:450.  I found it on wikipedia so I don't know availability of scenery stuff.

77m x 39.37 in/m = 3031 in

3031/450 = 6.74 in

The next train scale would be Z at 1:220
