Lots of activity there now.  I've seen them trenching the lot, and it looks like some bases (for lighting?) have been installed, but earlier this week they started a large excavation along the south side that looks like it could be the foundation for something.  I can't remember what the announced plans for this property were.  Anyone offer any help?

I thought we'd discussed a planned parking lot in another thread but if it's going to be a structure, I'd love to hear it.

I drove by today.  They have a good bit of rebar along the peremter.  I'm thinking walls and some lighting for a lot might fit the bill.  I'll try to ask a worker over lunch...

Did this end up being a lot or a structure?

Surface lot. On the bright side, as far as surface lots go, it's one of downtown's finest, which isn't saying much given the fact some of those lots look like they were last paved before I was born.

It won't be a surface lot forever.  And it certainly looks much better in its current state vs. the auto-bank.

The "lot available" sign at the BofA drive-though on Main is another one I wonder about.

I'd love it if it became something wonderful but I have a feeling it'll be leveled and all the trees will be removed becasue they're silly.
