^ perhaps you just did not handle the Word near enough, seeing that you also lightly criticize it :)

but to put any book on top of the Scriptures makes you, well, a man of this world.

I warned ya!

The UE benefits extension tied up again:

QuoteWASHINGTON – Republicans in the House have blocked a bill that would have extended jobless benefits for the long-term unemployed beyond the holiday season.

The most recent extension of jobless benefits expires Dec. 1. Two million people will lose benefits averaging $310 a week nationwide by the end of the year.

The measure would have extended jobless benefits through the end of February at a cost of adding $12.5 billion to the nation's debt. Republicans opposing the measure said that the measure should be paid for by cutting unspent money from last year's economic stimulus bill.

Sorry I couldn't win you over by speaking from the heart, there Hoss.  Maybe God Almighty will be gracious to send you a messenger that speaks and writes so perfectly that you need not to even blurt out, for all the shortage of speaking the truth and preparing the way among these who chime in, where you also take your leave, joining headlong with a generation of vipers, and the sons of Babylon.

The Artist, your equivocation convinced me of nothing, but that you justify shortchanging the true Bible-based Christian fellowship, which your "good works" cannot exempt you from, and your "God-given gifts" cannot purchase a lot in place of.  And that for good and righteous reasons.

So, who's next to give evidence that they bless the covetous, and are in league to make merchandise out of living souls?

Well apparently we will have to just agree to disagree lol. Good luck in your little fantasy world.

Those who think it is a luxury have only a fragment of a mind. Mans spirit grows hungry for art in the same way h

Maybe God will send you a messenger to enlighten you about reality.

Are you a disciple of the Lord, or is that a reality you confirm without Scripture?

My reality is a lot different than yours.  I don't believe that Scripture is the final authority or proof of anything.  As such, supporting your position by quoting Scripture is meaningless to me.

^ you don't believe the Gospel?  then how are you going to enter into all wisdom? let alone suggest that God (God I say, not the Devil, or what you esteem) would send messengers without Scripture?  You might as well say you don't believe God sends messengers, or some other nonsense, as you are standing by with a desire to kick against the pegs he fastened.

are you kidding?  we all will reap what we sow, while all men at their best state are embracing dunghills daily before our eyes, while any hopes for glory days are being thoroughly scattered.  fantasy nothing: for division and cursing the whole land will languish.

Wow.

You're running out of time.  You might want to think about continuing on building that ark.

So let's see...do they make tape measures in cubits?

His only argument is from a poorly thrown together tome.

And apparently, he's an alien.

I think he's a time traveler from Medieval Europe, probably the British Isles with his funny English. The structure and word choice reminds me of high school and college English classes and reading from that era.

Too bad he cannot adjust to even the 20th much less the 21st Century, he might enjoy his stay on earth a bit.

One of my favorite scriptures is "Judge not, lest ye be judged"

I learned a long time ago not to question another person's faith. It's uniquely their own. What someone else practices might not work for me so who am I to say that being bound to scripture is a bad thing for you? That focus on dogma kept me from having a great spiritual relationship for many years. If it works for you, I'm happy for you. But you should realize more than most then that it's not your place to berate others for their knowledge or lack therof of Biblical scripture.

Based on the record that I bear, none of those things you said are true.  Now, since those things are not true, but they are wrestled and twisted by you, perhaps you can reconsider.  Or play me out like I sin against the Lord and hate: do whatever is in your own heart to do.
