No cable is not included. This has been such a huge disappointment as I have everything budgeted down to the nickel and to have this come along was quite a jolt. You are correct about subsidizing the seniors that are home all day. When I moved in I was told the entire heating and cooling system had been replaced with some kind of state of the art system. I did live here years ago and the system was on a boiler type heating and cooling system that was contiually breaking down. I guess that I will just have to suck it up and live with this.

That's about what I end up paying, while not all bundled into my rent check.

The question is, are you getting billed based on your usage, or an average of your building/complex?  My water is billed that way, but I pay my electric through my own account with AEP.  If you are getting billed an average for the building or complex, you may be paying too much for your neighbor who has 5 PCs and 3 TVs running, the heat turned to 85, and an entire room filled with chicken incubators he runs his black market egg operation out of.

Glad I don't live there. I do a little dance when my electric/gas bill arrives and it's $30 or less, which I usually accomplish a few times a year in spring and fall.

Even the worst bill is maybe $120 for the hottest month of the year. Water and trash are included here.

But how much could trash cost, as that doesn't even go through the city at an apartment complex does it? Can't cost too much to have some trash hauler empty your dumpster once or twice a week, divided up among a bunch of tenants.

LOL Young Tulsan maybe I ought to start looking in windows to see if there are any incubators in the neighboring apts. Thanks for the giggle I sure needed that. To answer your question the  usage is based on the average of either each building or the entire complex of that I am not clear it is not based on my indivudal usage. To do that would probably be cost prohibitive due to having to meter each individual unit.
