From what I hear tell, that's been happening since at least yesterday after church.

Why I went before, when the slightest inkling of this was just hitting the news outlets.

Want some scary stuff?  One of the more popular forecast models that the NWS and network Meteos use, the NAM, is forecasting 20" of snow in a swath from Lawton up into Missouri, pretty much following the I-44 corridor.  Now, that doesn't mean we'll get that, as this is a computerized model, but the NWS uses this model (as well as a combination of others) for their forecasting.

How would that be different from any other day?

She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed informed me that 'we' need to go to the grocery store, which promises to be interesting ina zombie apocalypse kind of way, so I'm sitting here ready to go while she putzes around the house.

If your roof survived the 2007 ice storm,  you will probably be OK this time.

Just got back from the Neighborhood Market at 96th and Delaware. It was crazy. If you need bread or eggs forget it. Every checkout had a least 5 people in line. I was suprised they were all open.

Shouldn't they, I don't know, wait until something actually happens before assigning it a place in history?
