Later today I'll be out digging a path all the way to 71st if I have to.  I can't go another day without working.  Going to be fun with my little ole Nissan.

It will be melted or sublimated by the time I could dig to Memorial, almost 1/2 mile.

Deere has a 44" snowblower attachment that fits our garden tractor but I'll bet it's pricey, especially for how often I would need it.

Saw the price on a live shot at 21st and Memorial last night.  $3.09

3.09 for premium maybe.  All the live shots I saw showed 2.89 (Channel 2 doing their remotes near the QT across the street from them).

TulsaGasPrices.com don't show that either (granted those are people who submit prices, they're usually pretty accurate).

I have a full tank of gas though.  And I'm not getting out in this to verify.  If someone else that has been out can verify what QT's going rate is, I'm sure we'd all appreciate it.

FYI, the trip to work was surprisingly smooth.  The ticket is being able to get out of the neighborhoods, which are just awful.  But major surface arterials are clear and only slightly slick.  If you're easy on the accelerator and don't mind taking your time things move really well.  Things to dodge include: people in trucks who don't know how to drive; people walking to and from the nearest QuikTrip; and stranded cars, sometime jutting all the way out into the roadway.

My route:  15th to Yale, Yale south to 51st, 51st to Garnett, Garnett to 71st.

Is anybody else as bored as I am today? Can't leave the house, and stuff inside is getting old. I love snow, but I think I have cabin fever.

It was $2.89 around 1pm yesterday when NWS was measuring snowfall in their parking lot. They got the QT sign in the background of their shot. :D

I recall it being $2.89 around noon yesterday at the QTs on 11th, also.

If you're in a mini-SUV like a CR-V or RAV4, you might be able to get around if you get out of whatever drift you're parked in, but you absolutely must use the space already cleared by the F350s of the world.

And of course I had to go the AT-ST route, so it doesn't go well with the snow.

Saw it around 9pm, but the shot was tight and *might* just have been premium instead of reg...

Jenks Schools closed tomorrow, some districts are already closing for Friday.

Both QT stores on 11th are still at $2.89, FWIW.

You should try three months of 114+ to define cabin fever. I understand the Tulsa area shutting down with the record snow and now the cold behind it, grew up there. And before anyone slams me I chose to move here.

Glad to see that my friends here, and on FB, are doing well, and that all of you know how to prepare and deal with things like this, remind me of where I'm from, and aren't like some of the unprepared idiots here.

Best wishes to all of you, and from what I've read you guys were ready for this.

A virtual Marshall's to you all. CHEERS!

Tried to go out to dinner tonight...nowhere was open. We were forced to resort to the McDonald's on 121st. The owner was there working and was really nice. It was kinda funny though because he had just been sledding with his kids right beside us. The place was really busy, probably because NOBODY else was open. Oh well, guess I'll try again tomorrow.
