Wasn't it The Who last year?

They weren't bad.

The Who sucked last year. It was embarrassing.

I was totally underwhelmed by the whole show and broadcast. How much longer does Fox have the Super Bowl under contract?

Two years ago they opened the NFL season across the river in Pittsburgh, And the songs were the exact same ones.

Watch any music awards shows dating back to their last album and songs are the same ones.

I switched over to Pawn Stars after the first half and didnt miss a thing. Im just not a B.E.P. fan. "Didnt need dat boom boom boom, didnt need dat boom boom boom"

QuoteHas there ever been a good Super Bowl halftime spectacular?

Anybody remember Up With People? Just kidding... Years ago the Disney World Electrical Parade performed at one in Miami. It was pretty good. Of course it was after many margarita's. Looked good on TV anyway.

Trying to appeal to the masses is never easy.

33% are watching the game and 66% are watching what Dorito/car/godaddy commercials are up to.  1% are passed out, etc.  Those are unscientific numbers btw.

My wife enjoys Fergie and friends.  I can take or leave them.

I find myself conversing with surrounding friends during halftime more than watching it.  It's background noise.

Phil Collins once performed for halftime.  Phil freaking Collins.  Phil to the mother freaking Collins. was. halftime. entertainment.

They've done worse than Black Eyed Peas.

That'd be the 66% I was talking about.

Diana Ross.  A half time show that caused a generation of children to wake up screaming during the night, begging their mothers to protect them from the scary lady monster.

May you live in interesting times.

I didn't see the show since I don't watch sports and made it a point to keep it off at my house. However, I watched that youtube video to see what you were talking about, and it was painful to see. Not only are the BEP songs just dumb, but their performance was awful, off key, off time, and generally just poor. It was all about the flash, glitter, and lights. I'm glad I missed it. The episode of Glee after the game was a good one, though.
