Does anyone know which brands will NOT be at the car show this year?

Along with Nash, Pierce-Arrow, Franklin, Oldsmobile, Plymouth, LaSalle, Cord,.....

Actually, I was thinking of brands still in production.  There were several missing last year in addition to BMW which rarely shows.

Even the brands that show don't bring their newest/best/most exciting...and the human models are now all PC  (bronx cheer).

Most bring their current models of some sort.  You can (mostly) sit in one to see if you might like it as a used car in a few years.  I like to look at the cars without driving all over town.  The exhibitors know that most show-goers are not going to buy then so the sales pressure is greatly reduced.  I like to look at the vintage cars too.  I remember when a lot of them (50s models and newer) were new.

Hey Red, did you attend the event showing off these models?

Sorry, I should have been more specific...

1950s, not 1850s.

Edit:  I though I picked Guidos post to quote.  I think my computer in getting old-timers disease.

lol.

You know, they have updated computers from this model.

Although I have to admit I like the "steering wheel" option in that pic.

You know that's an exhibit of an old sub control, right?

It looks a lot simpler at Subway.

Nope, and I don't seriously care. I just picked the first old looking computer I could find for Red's benefit. Don't you think it looks like a computer though? I'll do better next time, but thanks for the buzz kill. :)

I just had to laugh, because I've seen that photo many times over.  That particular photo is actually photoshopped.  The original you can see other displays off to the side (where the wall is in this one) and the printer part is actually where they have the information on the controls.  Of course, you could just go with an old 1956 hard drive

It appears that no one has the answer to my original question.  Oh well.

And their new entry for police cars as well....

If I remember correctly, last year it was said that it had turned into a small show.

Chevrolet, Toyota both skipped it.
Power is nothing till you use it.
