RUN AWAY, WevsUs!!!
Run Away!!

The kid must be saved from Conan!!!!

Ha!  Thankfully, she's pre-ideology at the moment.  Much more into blocks, Blues Clues, and playing with yarn.

I'm more afraid that she'll scream and caterwaul and throw food than I am she'll start arguing about flat taxes and whatnot.

Come to think of it, I might plant her and Conan in a corner and have them sing the ABC song over and over and over again while the rest of us have lunch.

Hmmmmm.

I'm great with Crayons too!

I lost interest in Blue's Clues when the show replaced Steve with Joe. I mean, didn't they learn anything from a second Darrin on BeWitched. And, the whole premise of a dog getting paw prints all over the house began to bother me. I just was afraid that I was going to accept such a lifestyle myself.

I think I got out just in time.

Thank you for that, I needed a stress-buster this morning!

I hope we get a good lunch discussion going today. I am glad the new guy who is planning the south downtown grocery is planning to join us. I am anxious to learn more.

I will get us a big table and people can join us anytime between 11:30am and 1:00pm. Go through the line and pay for your own meal, then come find us.

I am also hoping we have some good conversations on the local city council/mayor smackdown and related topics. I bet we also flow into discussions about new downtown developments and school closings.

Unfortunately I will be a no show.  I had to deal with a work emergency in Cheyenne, Wy. yesterday.

I'll be on my bike somewhere between Woodland Park and Deckers, Co. either bucking a 25 MPH head wind or enjoying it as a tail wind on the return leg.  Have a great lunch and take pictures  ;)

So wait. A work emergency yesterday means you have to ride a bicycle to colorado?

I'll be there.

No driving 16 or so hours on my time means I get to bring my bike with me and take a day off to go ride.  ;)

I'll be there.

I'd like to discuss the cancellation of the "can you hear me now?" Verizon commercials and its effect on Tulsa.

Afterwards they have to come inside and check your pilot lights. No matter how many times you tell them you don't have any pilot lights. Not that I'm bitter.

I know that feeling.  They replaced a meter last winter and failed to tell me they replaced it and left the gas off.  I wondered why that night (having a gas heater) it got down to about 64 degrees in my house.....I DO have one pilot light...the hot water heater.  Everything else is electric start.

...still waiting... had a choice of "sometime after 8am" versus "sometime after 12noon"...... woulda liked to have made it for texmex to showcase my latest revamped plans to bring back the Roughnecks to the Fairgrounds (rimshot)...... unloading dishwasher... may resort to drinking cheap beer in anticipation of ONG's arrival..... yawn.
