Saw those two guys in the middle as they came in the east entrance.  I remember pointing out to John and Rob O how I thought that was the first time in years I'd seen anyone paint their faces for a hockey game.  I couldn't get away with it as I'm sporting the playoff beard now.

I'm glad I'll get at least another game.  I'll be here on the 19th, but likely wont be for the 23rd.

Congrats! How have we done against the crawdads this season? Lund needs to do something to get a big crowd in the BOK on the 19th.

Only three regular season meetings.  One away and two at home.  We're 1-2 against them, but both of the losses were around our dismal start.  The last game we played them at home on January 15th we put the screws to em, 7-3.  Although they were a couple of guys down with injury.  Should be a relatively good matchup.

Will be a battle between special teams and the goalies......

A little OT, but I'm sure BB remembers this...I missed this game..only one I missed that season.  I was down with a flu and fever of about 104 that night.  I wanted to go, but stayed home.  My cousin called me after the game and said 'what a game you picked to miss'...

As long as our PK plays like it has, their PP shouldn't be a huge problem, although the PS power play is second in the playoffs at 31 percent.  OTOH, we haven't been real good on the PP this post season (22 percent and that puts us at 8th of 16 teams that registered.).

Likely they'll ride Trevor Cann in goal.  He's been pretty good when needed.  But if the boys continue to play team defense like I saw on Saturday (save for that 4 minute lapse to start the third period) then they'll be tough for ANY team to play.  Plus, I'm not sure what Rammer said to them on the bus trip to Mississippi, but they've stepped their physical game up exponentially.  Fleck, Walls, Eastman..even Standish, have been leveling guys even when they're giving up inches and pounds in size.  Saturday's game was as fun a game as I've seen in some time.

I have four of the five goals posted here: http://blog.tulsaoilerfans.com/2011/04/video-showing-4-of-5-goals-from-last-night/

Of course, the sweetest goal by Costello where he absolutely made the King goaltender look silly was the only one omitted.

Ric Seiling desrved to get his donkey kicked.....Trading Craig Coxe what a bonehead move....Another disastourous hire by Lund.....

That hire wasn't Lund.  That was ALL Horn Chen and fulfilling a contract he had in San Antonio...

and Seiling proceeded to dismantle a championship quality team.  We've only begun to recover from that this season.

Seilling had less to do with it than you think.  We still had Beausoleil, Berger, Lawrence, we had a 100 point scorer in Jeff Antonovich, but that team still did poorly.  It had more to do with the way Seiling tried to coach the team.  Joe Boone and Lund had more to do with player movement.

I hated Joe Boone.  I wasn't the only one either.  He was horrible to most fans (customers?).

Can you imagine our first line (Combs, Costello, Beausoleil) with a line like Marcellus, Steer and Gravelle?  Lawrence, Beausoleil (Luc) and Coxe?  We'd KILL people.

I'd love to have a team like we had in the early 90s.  It was great to have a team that was feared.
