Only now? Not much of a stormgasm if it's not overhyped way in advance. Everything's pointing to a pretty nasty severe weather outbreak and has been for nearly a week. We'll know for sure in a couple more hours..

And there's been a tornado on the ground in northern Osage county for a while now, and another storm just to the SE of the other one got a tornado warning and looks to be headed in the direction of Bartlesville.

Stay safe out there, folks..

The Weather Channel is in Downtown right now. The TIV and Dominator have been seen in Sapulpa. That one around Stroud is coming straight at us. The tornado looks like it may be heading towards Bixby...holy ****!

I had been sitting at McAlisters at 101st and Memorial when the sirens went off and the messages on my phone started saying warning instead of watch. Finished up the meeting I was having, ordered the other half some food and headed home.  Got here in time to sit down, get the computer up and going, then go outside to watch the circulation pass directly overhead.  Always love being immune to tornadoes.

If you don't want to take a system that's put a line of tornadic supercells down across the state seriously, that sounds like a personal problem to me. I've seen spotter reports of at least four tornadoes on the ground already. We happened to get lucky with "our" storm ending up being choked off by its neighbors. It could just have easily been the one to produce.

And this is just round one, although round two will probably be more of a wind and hail threat..

Nate, I like to call it 'thinning the herd'....

Never thought I'd say The Weather Channel had the best coverage of this tonight.

Sadly, I agree.

Depending on where your fam is, for now it's over...still some stuff going on near Coweta/Wagoner, and further to the southeast, but the immediate Tulsa area is out of the woods.
