I really think Cindy Sheehan is still around solely to piss you off.  It's certainly not to affect Democratic politics, or even the liberal agenda broadly, because it's been years since she's done either.

The MSM is reporting that there were no US casualties/injuries in the operation.

That would certainly ruin the moment, but its possible the "mechanical difficulties" that caused the UH-60 to crash may have been related to gunfire it was reportedly receiving from below.  You would expect at least an injury report here, or from the other helicopter that reportedly burst into flames when it crashed in a residential district.

Even if it's not as rosy as we would like, overall, it was still something that needed to be done.  I would hate to be the next-of-kin to a family that might have been asked to stay silent if it didnt go perfectly, but I can see where it might be viewed as an honorable (if not patriotic) thing to do.   
For the sake of history, Im hoping the video of the raid is preserved for future generations.
