Weiner was in a tight spot.

Sorry, that was mean.  I'm actually quite excited about her as the new face for the DNC.  She has the Bidenesque ability to speak her mind.  I think she may be able to provide the appropriate leadership.

"Well like 'The Iraq' 'n stuff..."

You know what she looks like?  A bad night on campus corner.

Anyone listen to the audio feed from the presser?

Heard in the background: "Bye bye pervert!"  "Is it bigger than seven inches?"

What is it with these New Yorkers?

Good riddance!

Now, where is the umbrage for Vitter and Ensign?  And maybe a little for Coburn?

I don't share my thoughts because I think it will change the minds of people who think differently.  I share my thoughts to show the people who already think like me that they are not alone.

Worse Than Weiner? Some Delinquent Lawmakers Kept Their Jobs

http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/anthony-weiner-resignation-puts-scrutiny-delinquent-lawmakers-jobs/story?id=13860994

They need to draft a new code of ethics and make every Congressman and Senator sign a copy of it in which they agree that an indictment or felony charges being filed (conviction not necessary), marital/sex, corruption scandals, civil lawsuits related to un-paid bills or certain other actions are grounds for immediate dismissal from Congress.  That way it doesn't become a two or three week long circus which distracts from what they were hired to do in the first place.

They need to lead by example.

They are.  Note the two previous posts.

Larry Flint is a great American.

at least he'd be working for a more honest employer...

And there's this! Weiner and the Democrats, the media and Obama: politics or penis envy?

"I think he's embarrassed himself. He's acknowledged that. He's embarrassed his wife and his family. Ultimately, there's going to be a decision for him and his constituents. I can tell you that, if it was me, I would resign,".

Quite amusing from a man who has been an embarrassment to himself and his party and his supporters daily for the last two years, a man so without principle or conviction and backbone along with the other part of the anatomy pointed out by Carville, that even the African American Princeton historian Cornell West said of Obama, " when you stand for nothing, you'll fall for anything". So Obama saying he would quit is what you call an empty gesture given that he quits over everything anyway. "

Can't argue with applying equal standards.  Or maybe it's different because Barbara Walters hasn't seen a c*ck shot of Vitter.
