I am so damned tired of reading polls of Obama matched up against a "generic republican", as if he is leading or trailing means anything.
Someone get Hoss a pacifier.

One that doesn't exist since the Republicans are divided at like 5 ways.

You've got these 3 basic camps:
A Libertarians
B Social Conservatives
C Lets blow up and occupy the Middle East

There are diehard As, diehard Bs, Dick Cheney fans (diehard Cs), and combination ABs, and combination BCs,

And neither of those 5 want anything to do with one another.

I get on Obama's case all the time, but measuring him up against an imaginary person is just dumb.
