I know where you're talking about.

This building?

IBD, I've never paid close attention to it and hadn't noticed the roll up doors before either.  Sure does look like an old OTASCO.

Is the grocery on Archer just west of the ballpark still scheduled? There are zero signs of progress on that. No renovations. Same assortment of random junk piled up inside there.

On the NE corner?

That would be the one.  Smart place as it's right across the street from the 310 Lofts location.

It's still scheduled. That's my project and because most of the build-out is already done, it won't take us long to get open. The major work in there is done as far as plumbing, electric, and HVAC. We've got a bit of moving things around, a couple of half-walls to build and some tiling. It'll be quick compared to the full renovations we've done in Blue Dome. Anyway, I'd still expect Archer Market to be the first of the rumored downtown markets to get open. I'd look for it around Sept/Oct, maybe sooner.

When the lease is finalized, we'll be all public and talkative about it.  :)

Thanks for caring.

That's good to hear, downtown will soon have two grocery stores!

For a news conference.  That's pretty cool.

Congrats to Cam.

Wow, that is cool. Lots of people interested. I'm still in love with that building.

That is an amazing level of interest for a press conference.  I hope it means all these people will be back when it opens.

Does anyone know when the Archer St. Market is supposed to open?

Towell has been thrown in:

Dear friends, It has been one year since we announced our efforts to put Cam's Grocery in 114 S. Detroit Ave. in downtown Tulsa. We were generously given an opportunity to hang our banner and plan the concept for the building rent-free until we occupied the building or until one year lapsed. We have been unable to raise all the money at this point and therefore are conceding our efforts to move into 114 S. Detroit. We are not giving up on Cam's Grocery and we will continue to look for investors and a new location.

For the time being, the Cam's Grocery team is operating Okie Alchemy Craft Juices & Teas at all four Tulsa farmer's markets and is working to sell Okie Alchemy products at grocery stores, convenient stores and restaurants throughout the Tulsa area later this year.

Thank you for all your support... Stay tuned.

Lesson learned: Have all your groceries in one basket prior to major announcements.
