Given past posts, this makes me wonder why Breadhead hasn't gotten himself sent to prison yet?

Or is already posting from there.

Let's take away their free medical care while we're at it.  And wheelchairs.  People lived for centuries without wheelchairs.  And 3 squares a day.  Think how much we could save by feeding them barely enough to stay alive??  Law libraries.  What a waste.  People got along just fine without them.  Eye glasses.  They're only good for reading, right?  And who wants to give an inmate that privilege??  Electricity?  Generations have lived without it.  Clothing?  Why waste the fabric?  Exercise yards?  Why give them any privilege?  Worship service?  God's love is conditional isn't?  Jesus would never open his arms to a dirty inmate.  Right?  Right guys?

Isn't that right?

Can I get an amen?

Jesus didn't have air conditioning either.

Just venalation......
I believe that's called indecent exposure these days.

Several of the old facilities still use water box fans and have no plans on putting in central a.c. because of the cost. It's a roll of the dice where Lexington intake sends you. The main thing they try to do is send you as far away from your home in order to not have to deal with family visits. You get closer to home as your sentence nears its end.

As for the luxury of clothing. All your clothes are washed twice a week in a nylon bag barely large enough for all your clothes and washed with hundreds of bags at a time and full drying is never achieved.
The sores that are accompanied with such process is blamed on possible spider bites. But almost always turns out to be staph infection.

A lot of the facilities try and be self sufficient and have a garden which the inmates work year round. Three meals a day and a limited commissary are the choices. Food cooked is usually high in carbohydrates and starches. Most inmates will pack on the pounds while incarcerated, giving the impression of living comfortably.

All inmates have a job. They all are assigned after assessment is done over the first few weeks at the yard. The higher risk inmates will stay and work on the yard or kitchen. The lower risk inmates usually get a outside job with seven to ten men on a crew. Most inmates want these jobs but are subject to more strip searches for obvious reasons.

If you have issues such as needing Eye glasses, they will be provided to you and most all of them black frame plastic to cut down on possible replacements. You have to be in the system at least six months to be looked at for Dental care. And even after that it could take up to six months to a year to finally get the treatment because of the long back log of patients.

They also provide three months of good time to your sentence if you enroll in and pass the GED course. It almost always takes several months to get into the class because of the long list of enrolled inmates. Not all yards offer the GED course so you may end up having to wait for a bed at another facility to get transfered to and that also takes time.
Changing opinions one mistake at a time.

Couldn't AC and facility upgrades (moving to a better facility) be a good behavior reward? Also, couldn't the inmates donate labor and there earnings for AC?
Thank you,

As it is, generally heating and cooling equipment is maintained by the inmates unless they have a problem or repair which is too big or technical for them to handle.  As far as rewards, prison isn't supposed to be about privilege, it's about punishment, deterrent, and rehabilitation.  If the conditions are less than ideal, hopefully you leave an impression on an inmate that will keep them from returning when they are released.

So, I guess thinking that Jesus was capable of corruption or being bribed or bought off goes well with Breadhead's other internal inclinations.

I don't share my thoughts because I think it will change the minds of people who think differently.  I share my thoughts to show the people who already think like me that they are not alone.

and what is wrong with thinking that he was just a man, which means he is capable of that stuff?

Seems to me that he was exposed to exactly that kind of temptation and showed himself to be above it.  Something about temptation in the dessert?

So because someone resists temptation (at least where other see it) that means they are not capable of it?

JMO, anyone can be capable of succumbing to temptation, but the resistance is taught by family as to what is right and wrong. I know, simple concept of family and morality being taught in the home. Guess we need legislation to enforce values for us, instead of it being a trait taught by parents.

(Now going to duck to avoid the onslaught of responses)
