What's everyone else's favorite hobby or hobbies?

Obviously, two of mine I talk about all the time are cycling and cooking, oh, and beer.  So that's three.  I also enjoy skiing, traveling, and hopefully later this month I will get to start rowing again.

This fellow sure has an interesting one:

QuoteA Swedish man arrested on charges of unauthorised possession of nuclear material after trying to split atoms in his kitchen says he was only doing it as a hobby.

Richard Handl said he had the radioactive elements radium, americium and uranium in his flat in southern Sweden when the police showed up.

He said on Wednesday he had always been interested in physics and chemistry and "just wanted to see if it was possible to split atoms at home".

Handl kept a blog about his experiments, describing how he created a small meltdown on his stove.

Only later did he realise it might not be legal and sent a question to Sweden's radiation authority, which sent the police.

Detectives have declined to comment on the raid, which took place in late July. If convicted Handl could face fines or up to two years in prison.

You simply cannot make stuff like this up.  I'd say this trumps a meth lab any old day:

Two to three years in prison ? Just think what he will do with cleaning fluid, soap, toothpaste, floss and a few double A batteries. They might want to reconsider.

I like Marshalls and Sooner and Dolphin Football.
Oh and I also collect 8x10 celebrity photos that I print out and have them sign.
Changing opinions one mistake at a time.

Digital art (2D and 3D), gardening, cooking. . . and anything with my kids.

I also like just about any outdoor activity like fishing, hunting, auto-mechanics, skinny-skiing, and bullfights on acid.

Neon Artist ay?

My hobby is working to create an Art Deco Museum for Tulsa.   Actually I don't know if you can call it just a hobby, more of an insane addiction lol.   www.TulsaArtDecoMuseum.com

But, back to that neon artist thing... I am wanting to create a museum display that replicates a mini theater front, likely the Delman, inside our "soon to be announced" starter museum space.

I would like the DELMAN sign to have neon going around it like in the photo. (If anyone knows what the colors were please let me know) I can make do without the lettering being neon by making them of white plastic and have lights inside the sign. But having the neon going around the sign would definitely be the crowning touch.  Would like the sign to be about 4' tall.

Now we are a super poor bunch and this is a "grassroots" museum effort that we hope the people of Tulsa will contribute to and help build up, so the only way we can do this is by having people "like neon artists" generously donate a little time. (and of course we would put a little plaque mentioning this wonderfully kind persons donation)  Perhaps we could also get a co-sponsor to help with some of the costs.  I could build the basic structure of the sign or possibly find a local sign company that might donate that, but it would really be nice to have that neon going around the edge.

Any possible interest or ideas,,, anyone,,,?    ;D

I mostly have passing interests, currently on Geocaching and hoping to start creating some steampunk items if I can ever get the materials.

Like what kind off steampunk items?  Do you weld?  Steampunk and Art Deco are close relatives imo.   I would love to have a sci-fi area in the TADM and have a collection of rayguns for instance and have old Buck Rogers and Flash Gordon memorabelia right up to todays stuff that have that ethos (Rocketeer the recent Captain America).  Would be neat to have that section of the museum be a combo 40s-50s sci-fi/steampunk.
