New house with a pool.

All sorts of new hobbies.  Some fun...some not-so-fun.

House warming party is when?  Did you already sell the house in mid-town?

Soon.  I'll let you know.  You're always welcome for poolside and beers anyway.

Apparently I can face East and wave at Guido.

Kept it as a rental.

Now we are a super poor bunch and this is a "grassroots" museum effort that we hope the people of Tulsa will contribute to and help build up, so the only way we can do this is by having people "like neon artists" generously donate a little time. (and of course we would put a little plaque mentioning this wonderfully kind persons donation)  Perhaps we could also get a co-sponsor to help with some of the costs.  I could build the basic structure of the sign or possibly find a local sign company that might donate that, but it would really be nice to have that neon going around the edge.

Ill take an entertainment district awash in diffuse neon colors any day over one flooded with garish Metal Halide.

How far east?  Are you now a Bixby resident or are you west of Sheridan?

If we volunteer, do we get free admission?  I could probably sling some paint some time, if that would help.

As many times as I went to the Delman, I would have thought that would be permanently imprinted.  Red border with white name lettering?  (That is the first thing that came into the dusty, musty corners of my memory.  But don't rely on it...)

Right behind the theater used to be a sleazy little bar - can't remember the name.  Wasn't the Snake Pit, that was east a little ways on 15th.  Had one acquaintance got gutted like a fish at that bar late one night (he survived).  A second got stabbed in the heart and died a few hours later.  Was a pretty rough place in the 70's....

I will pay for your admission, and the brush.  I am putting you on the volunteer list lol.  ;D

It terrifies me that from that information I now have a very good idea of where you live... ;D

When are you planning this?  Must be a Saturday or Sunday morning for me to attend.  (And not the first two weeks of September.)

I don't share my thoughts because I think it will change the minds of people who think differently.  I share my thoughts to show the people who already think like me that they are not alone.
