From a PR Newswire release:

Quote"TULSA, Okla., Sept. 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- CAVU Resources, Inc. ("CAVU"), which trades as OTC: CAVR.PK, announced today that CAVU Resources, Inc., its subsidiaries and CAVU Energy Services, Inc. have entered into an agreement to purchase an office building and development property in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma.

A private investor has funded the $550,000.00 acquisition of an approximate 9,000-square-foot building that offers both office and workshop amenities.  The building located on historic Route 66 is in a proposed renovation zone in downtown Tulsa.  Future development calls for new streets, retail, housing and office space along with new sidewalks and greenbelt areas. CAVU Resources, Inc. and CAVU Energy Services, Inc. will each own 50% of the contracted acquisition.  Both companies plan to locate their headquarters in the building after renovation.

The facility currently has a fiber optics pipe and multiple communications hubs in the building.  The planned expansion into oil and gas marketing, oil field securities systems with internet connectivity will easily be accommodated by the communication lines available.  The companies are developing a design plan and multiple commercial uses for the property.
Having a central location for CAVU Resources, Inc., its subsidiaries and the proposed spin out CAVU Energy Services, Inc. will allow a consolidation of accounting, technology and corporate management.  Each company will have its own separate location all under one roof.

"This acquisition and other targeted purchases will continue to grow CAVU asset base and revenue stream for future distribution.  This recent acquisition gives CAVU Resources, Inc., its subsidiaries and the proposed spinoff of CAVU Energy Services, Inc. a home to consolidate operations and manage the growing assets.  Plans and future concepts for the facility will be unveiled at the shareholders meeting on September 16," stated William Robinson, CEO and President of CAVU Resources, Inc."

I can't find any reference to an actual address . . . anyone else hear anything about this?

No references that I could find.  The Hartford building?

I even did a google streetview tour down the IDL stretch of Route 66 (10th St.) and there's almost nothing there that could conceivably be a new HQ for an oil services firm.

Isn't 2nd St considered ALT 66 in Downtown? If so there are buildings available at 2nd/Cheyenne, 2nd/Frankfort (old Mopar building) 2nd/Greenwood (Flytrap).

Yeah that's why I suggested the hartford building.  Remember, 9,000 square feet, fiber optic connectivity, and office and workshop amenities.

Let the guessing in begin (or continue)

What's the Hartford Building's address?

And I vote 2nd and Cheyenne as a likely culprit.  That puts it right across the street from One Place.

I'm not sure of its adress but Now that I think about it, it's TDA owned which means they would have had to have submitted their bit sometime durring the life of christ to have it cleared by now.

I think that may be right.  I know that building is being offered as a duo, with the buidling next door.  I just figured it would end up being retail or restaurant space...

I do think it's weird that a downtown office space would also insist on having a shop onsite.  That's expensive sq footage for what I assume will be industrial use.

IIRC that build was a geology survey company and they used to analyze well core samples there, which would explain the shop space.

Announcements of new bars/restaurants is exciting, but news of new companies moving downtown is the real key to success.  This sounds like great news.

I am guessing that old BF Goodrich tire store on the SE Corner of 10th and Detroit.  It most recently was a "telecommunications" company...MCE or something or other.  That was the approximate listing price and size of the store.  It has bays for a 'shop' and tons of existing switches etc in it.

That was my dark horse candidate.  I like the one on 2nd St. SO much better, but then anything new downtown is a good thing.

Well there wasn't any movement on the 10th and detroit building as of today.

MCE Communications was/is a company that sells telephone systems and installs voice and data networks in buildings. They were not a provider of OSP (out side plant business exchange or ISP services) they provide internal cabling infrastructure. My brother that I worked for starting in the early 90's was in the same business. They both sold phone systems and did cabling for voice and data, but did not supply copper or fiber networks outside of the business. MCE was/is and interconnect between the business and SW Bell, AT&T, Cox, or what ever the public business exchange is.
