Doesn't all of the sales tax from Tulsa Hills and "The Walk @ Tulsa Hills" get diverted to Jenks School district?
School Districts get no sales tax $.

The property has increased in value and surrounding properties will also increase in value. Then Jenks schools will get a nice bump.

I am a regional guy. Tulsa can capture sales tax, Jenks can get property tax, and the county and state can get a share of new taxes as well.

At least in theory.

Ah, it was a property tax TIF which is why Jenks Schools asked to be excluded.

No, that was Atomic Burrito and it's now a Qdoba.  FAIK, the 37th & Peoria location is their first one in Tulsa.  I believe they are out of Fayetteville.  I figured it would be full of FAIL with a name like that, but I usually grab a 'rito once a week there.  Rice & beans are great cycling fuel.  Their salsa is pretty good as well.

Zombie reply, but just noticed this thread outlasted the aforementioned restaurant.

Any ideas on what is going in near the Jiffy Lube and Carpet place?  They are moving a lot of dirt, and getting ready to build, it appears.

Also heard a Raising Canes chicken might be going in some where?

Next to Jiffy.... is Mathis Brother owned.... Ashley Furniture store.

Haven't heard anything about Canes.... unless they are going to be part of the Walk in Tulsa Hills.

In the meantime, there is a Cane's at the Mall....if you gotta have a short term "fix".
And Broken Arrow.

I don't share my thoughts because I think it will change the minds of people who think differently.  I share my thoughts to show the people who already think like me that they are not alone.

Yay, team!  Didn't know about that one.  But it's kind of outside my traffic pattern.
