Yech....someone needs to do a successor production called "Tulsa, What went wrong 60 years later."

An empty river, bad air, the desertion of downtown....you get the picture?

It could demonstrate the positives as well....

Neat little video. Thanks for sharing.

Pretty cool. I haven't seen anything like that since Elementary or Jr. High School.

Henry Carson. Wonder if he (if a real name) was any relation to Carson Attractions?

I like how they walked out of the Delman Theater onto Boston Ave. And there are too many caucasions running around in this picture.

Anyone notice that Tom caught the N Denver Bus, those houses must be Brady Heights.

I think he said "Eddie".  Also, wonder if he or Janet are still around?

I loved the Delman!

I don't share my thoughts because I think it will change the minds of people who think differently.  I share my thoughts to show the people who already think like me that they are not alone.

Yea, but wasnt it at 15th and Lewis? They must have had a transporter to walk out on to Boston Ave.

Don't take the vdeo to literally guys. :)  Just enjoy seeing the center of downtown without the williams superblocks having munched away everything.

I enjoyed it a lot.  Having lived it, I enjoyed the memories.

TeaTownClown,
As far as empty river - well that is unchanged.  It was empty most of the year up until mid 60's, EXCEPT when it was flooding Brookside and beyond with the spring rains.

Then we got Keystone dam and a low water dam.  Then that low water dam was taken out and another one put in a few feet upstream of the old one.  Go figure...
