Is FOX deliberately misleading or are they just doing sloppy work?  I can't think of any other explanations.  Today, there's this graph that purports to show unemployment figures.  When I went to school 8.6 was less than 8.9.

Granted, this was a screen grab and there's no way to verify that it hasn't been altered.  But FOX graphics have misidentified politicians on numerous occasions.

May you live in interesting times.

Last time I checked, 8.6 was also less than 8.8.

Faux News Network doesnt make those sort of mistakes...

I am SO glad that ABC, NBC, and CBS never make any mistakes.

As shown, 8.6 is at the same level as 9.0. The audio that accompanied the chart said slight dip in November.  I vote for sloppy rather than deliberate intention to mislead. But that's just me.

Fox news sure is trying to make Mitt Romney the nominee.  They quickly proclaimed the winner of last night's debate and played his good sound bites at length on TV and radio today.

Apparently Ailes read the speculation that Fox News' continued attempts to push Gingrich and the rest were going to lead to a defeat next November. Were I as partisan as Fox, I'd probably also have thought twice when Obama polled ahead of any of the Republican contenders in South Carolina. Media Matters has done some interesting work on this general subject, by the way. Several days before each of the successive Republican contenders has taken the lead in the opinion polls, they've gotten a massive push on Fox.

Fox News isn't real news, it's just a racist, sexist, hateful, right-wing propaganda machine.

I don't share my thoughts because I think it will change the minds of people who think differently.  I share my thoughts to show the people who already think like me that they are not alone.

In case you missed it:

And yes, the best part was shown on our local (non-FOX-owned) FOX affiliate.

Even FOX should know that wizards wear pointy hats.

They sure do (this is a democrat-dominated thread after all and ol' @ssclown had to introduce racism into the discussion)....
