Which side of the road?

East. Just north of the car lot (Drivetime?)

Used to be Betty Anne's

I didn't realize they were doing that well already.  I thought from talking to Stephen and Barry that business was still a little hit or miss.  My bad.

Gotta give props to them, they have brought back a "brand" that was histrocial..I have eaten there twice..

1. Bad Slow Service
2. Food is very very...well average.
3. Pies are...average
4. The food is canned(beans etc) average rolls, over breaded chicken fried everything...
5. I have driven by when looking for lunch options and have passed them by..but I assume that I am in the minorty, most people in Tulsa have a lower quality food tolerance than I do I think, so they might do well in a few other places but I for one don't frequent their place.

Hillary's right though...I've been once.  I've never gone back.

The lunch lady makes the same food.

¿You're expecting above average from a place calls itself a "buffeteria"?

No, just average or close to it.

And the one on 3rd street is now closed. Tried to go there for lunch last week and there was a sign saying to go the Memorial location.

Can't say that I blame them.  I don't know how the Memorial location looks but the 3rd street location was not pretty.

Another example of someone slapping lipstick on a concept that was fine in the 30's, 40's 50's and not sure if they used all canned products and boxes gravy etc...plus I can assume at that time their location which was downtown was a good fit at that time for foot traffic...but I just don't see them sticking out as a destination at 44th and memorial? I've gone a few times and while the food was "okay" it wasn't something I talked about the next day or a week later to anyone thinking "hey lets make a trip and go eat at Nelson's"....now it will be even less of a chance of that....
