California politician advocates assassination of Obama and family

Facebook faux pas: California libertarian and Tea Party darling Jules Manson is caught calling for the assassination of President Barack Obama and his children.

On Sunday, many Facebook users were greeted by the shocking spectacle of a California libertarian and Ron Paul supporter by the name of Jules Manson advocating for the assassination of President Barack Obama. Manson, a failed politician, recently ran for and lost a seat on the City of Carson's City Council last March. The following is the text of Manson's racist, treasonous, deplorable post:

"Assassinate the f----- n----- and his monkey children"

Manson posted the disturbing and openly racist call to assassinate Obama and Obama's children on his own Facebook wall, which was open to the public. Manson, a Ron Paul libertarian, was angry with Obama over a policy matter.
Power is nothing till you use it.

we vs us

Well that's not very sporting, is it?

One might assume that the good folks at the Secret Service will be paying Mr. Manson (ha!) a visit toot suite.

Ahhh, so this means all Tea Baggers are racist and approve of presidential assassinations.  Is that where you were going with that RM?

Your subject title isn't even accurate.  If you notice the story of the text he's a "failed" politician.  You make it sound as if he's an office holder.

Where the hell did I hide my ruler?  Twenty knuckle slaps for you.

We've been down this road of trying to hold hate speakers from the GOP/Teabagger bunch accountable.

Look where it's gotten them..... :-*

Interesting how you immediately jump to "The Script" and exaggerate to include everyone.  When it specifically stated in the post that it was Charles...uh, Jules Manson.  Hardly includes all Tea Baggers.

Maybe "The Disciples" of "The Script" could take a shot of mellow juice (Wild Turkey, Jack, etc) to help this problem...

Well, I guess you could also call Perry a "failed politician" unless you want to quality the definition.

I thought Tea Partiers and Libertarians were different animals. Just like Liberals and OWS are also different (in spite of what 234 pages of posts tried to intimate). People seem to put them wherever it seems useful.

Now, if he really was "the darling" of Tea Partiers then the original post and its title seems accurate.

Mike, why is he their "darling"?
onward...through the fog

He must be using the same Literary License that you use.  I'm surprised that you didn't recognize it.

No, not me.

I just posted the story and used the same headline they used.

I posted this because it was interesting. Others posted anything they could find negative about the occupy movement and I posted something negative about the Tea Party movement.

If you are going to lump all the supportors of a movement into one category, you should realize that it is a two way street.

Except the occupiers seem to have far more people with deviant traits.  Wait... sounds like people I want to party with.

This dingleberry lost running for city council.  Perry has run and won the office of governor of Texas.  He's failed as a presidential candidate and Obama has simply failed as president.

If you really believe that, then you really haven't been paying close enough attention.

But party with the Tea Baggers??  Mmmm....maybe not.

I could be wrong, but I seem to recall that threatening the life of the president is a criminal act.  Manson claims in an interview with the New York Daily News that Secret Service agents interviewed him and searched his home and computer with his consent.

May you live in interesting times.
