C'mon Newtster!

Looking forward to a guaranteed Obama landslide win in November?

Newt doesn't have the downstream organization to pull him through as a candidate. He's not even on the ballot in a lot of primary states. This is his opportunity for revenge and to wield some stroke at the convention. He's fun to watch though.

If I remember right, he wasn't able to even get on the ballot in his home state of Virginia...

A reworked old joke:

Newt Gingrich stood on a crossroad at midnight, hoping to sell his soul to the devil.

Old Nick appeared in a puff of smoke before him.  "What do you want?" he asked.

"I want to be President of the United States of America," Newt replied.

"Okay," said the devil.  "I'll make you President, but you'll have to give me your soul, your wife's soul, and you'll be reviled as a liar and a hypocrite for the rest of your days."

"Well, all right," Newt replied.  "But what's the catch?"

+1 Ed.

IMO, the GOP establishment will now stop at nothing to destroy Newtie.  It may take them awhile but they're going to throw most everything they can at him to get him out of the way.  This is not only because they prefer Romney (however weakly) but because they loathe Newt.

Quotethat is the question. would you care to talk about this now? the reason mr. gingrich's response sounded so awesome because yelling at the media is satisfying and also it's true there is nothing inherently newswor newsworthy about anybody's sex lives, it's not inherently newsworthy. to not just seem like you're prying to make clear the newsworth iness about someone's private sexual morale tee you have to say why it's news worthy and why you're not just prying. how about this, how about was it hypocritical of you to lead the impeachment of president clinton while you were having an affair. you have admitted to numerous adulterous affairs including one to the woman to whom you are now married. your ex-wife pointed out while you were cheating on her, you were also giving political speeches accusing democrats of undermining the institution of marriage. how do you explain that hypocrisy, sir? or in this campaign you've said you would fight for a federal ban on same sex couples being allowed to get married. how can you justify passing government judgment on other people's marriages when your own marriages are the kind of ethical mess described by your second wife on abc news today. there is a lot you could go on, right? the point is you could ask the question a different way, instead of just saying, would you like to take some time to talk about this? nobody's sex live is anybody else's business unless they are a hypocrite or demagoging other people's sex lives to benefit themselves comparing the moral -- newt gingrich bad husband, who cares? newt gingrich

And that's the ole ballgame!

you really have to watch the Rachel clip link above from the 3:10 to 4:30 mark....it's the important part!

but you see....forgiveness was not in vogue back when Clinton was in office. At least not forgiveness of the party in power.

I am pretty surprised that anyone would not understand that Grich went off on the press as a ploy to distract from his obvious moral hypocrisy. Transference. The Jews were handy in Germany. The press is handy here.

And then there's this:

C'mon Newtster!

Let's hope she doesn't turn up sick....

Newt has been saying for years that marriage is between a man and a woman....and a woman....and a woman...and a woman....

I don't share my thoughts because I think it will change the minds of people who think differently.  I share my thoughts to show the people who already think like me that they are not alone.
