Do you mean the parking to the east or west of the building?  They don't own the parking to the west.

That building has NO parking.  I did some feasibility and concept work for a potential project in it - the building is a complete mess inside, so making it functional would be difficult.  Lots of floor elevation changes, the entire upstairs floor structure is basically gone.  And the eastern 10' (single story portion) is actually built OVER the property line.  That parking lot to the east is actually owned/maintained by the parks department as part of the adjacent trail, if I recall correctly.

All previous plans that I have seen for that building involved sharing parking or leasing parking from the lot across the street to the north and around the Pink building, and the lot on the SW corner of 18th and Boston.

Is Pink still popular?  That place seems aweful from everything I've seen when I lived closer to it and from my times at the other local places.  I thought it would be "trendy" for a couple of months and then everyone would move on to another similar place or go through a dozen name changes like the Ivey, or whatever it's called now, on Brookside, which seems like the same clientelle.

Hate to see that old building go away, but this looks nice.  Any rumors as to who the committed first floor retailers are?

Opening to the trail like that, too bad it doesn't include residential.
