Perhaps we could come up with a month where we try to JUST do business with locally owned businesses... documenting our failures (ie.  my internet with Cox isn't going to change).

One of my top criteria.  Made in USA is number one.

Strange that "Cash Mob" doesn't specify using cash.
Appears you can use plastic in a cash mob.

I'd go one further and try to use cash.   Credit card transactions are expensive for ma-n-pop shops.   3% of the transaction goes to VISA/mastercard/etc

Why can't they just call it a "spend local mob"?

Why not tell that to the thousands of worker's, including city employees, who cause traffic jams on the expressways between 6 and 9 AM and 3 to 6 PM .
