Well, since we had to have a thread on unzipping Mitt Romney, guess we need to have this:

QuoteVice President Joe Biden apparently did not catch the potential double meaning when he paraphrased a famous Teddy Roosevelt quote on Wednesday when he said "I promise you, Obama has a big stick." The audience, mostly comprised of New York University students, immediately got the joke.

Yes, our country would be a much better place if politicians would start catering to the most juvenile among us.  ::)

I hope someone asks Biden about this and I hope his response is something like "grow the f**k up".

He probably shouldn't say that to the first lady.

I love it. Was the package too small or does Biden have it right?

The right wingers say it's too big, but the left wingers say it's too small.

Oh Crap!

Another blow to the Keynesians.  Apparently it's not the size of the package, or how you use it!
Public spending fails to create private spending.  In fact, it shrinks it!

"Faberge shampoo-style stories you read about in freshman economics texts where "he spends money at her store, and she spends money at another store, and so on, and so on" just doesn't seem to show up in the real world. "

"An increase in government spending never leads to a significant rise in private spending.  In fact, in most cases it leads to a significant fall."   According to a new study published in the National Journal of Economic Research from University of California at San Diego.
