Fountains in roundabouts just don't seem to be a good combination.  San Antonio is throwing in the towel on theirs. They are removing it and will replace it with greenery. What's the hold up on the Bartlett Square fountain, anyway?

Egads, hit by 26 drunk drivers in only 3 years.   I don't know why on earth they are thining of removing that fountain though.   Better have them hit the fountain than you or me.  Remove the fountain, just gonna up the chance of those drunk drivers hitting something, or someone, else.

Wow..it's 'roundabout'.

Last I checked roundabouts were all over America, but probably not in Omaha so you wouldn't be used to them.  I drive the Admiral/Mingo Traffic Circle every day at least twice.  Technically, that's a 'rotary' and not a 'runnabout'.

Seriously, who is this?  I claim shenanigans.

You're doing a pretty good job though.

They must have had a lot of Owasso Cheerleaders move to San Antonio in the last few years.  ;D

Just drove through one in OKC near the St. Anthony's hospital there. Really moved traffic smoothly and quickly. No signs of Owasso cheerleaders having been there. Perhaps them Thunder people has more smarts than us Tulsey sophisticates?

Ireland has them all over.  Far superior in my opinion.

Don't post and drive.

A few years ago in Hilliard Ohio (a suburb of Columbus, Ohio)  the city was  rebuilding some 2-lane streets and installed those "Run-a-bouts" at the intersections, I did not like it, maybe I'm old fashioned but I'd just as soon have a stop sign, Run-a-bouts take up alot of space too. Maybe they are something that has to grow on you and something that takes getting used to. I drive that run-a-bout on Mingo & Admiral more than I'd like to- but that's only because I-244 is such a mess and choked with traffic with all the const. work going on it's less hassle to take that run-a-bout to highway 169 than to mess with I-244.

Are you really sure? That looks like a "Walk-a-'bout" to me one of the early models at that. ???

Roundabouts are not the answer to every intersection.  They are to some.  I suggest you read about them.
