Register with Obama 2012

Got a special milestone or event coming up?

Instead of another gift card you'll forget to use, ask your friends and family for something that will go a little further: a donation to Obama for America. Register your next celebration—whether it's a birthday, bar or bat mitzvah, wedding, or anniversary—with the Obama campaign. It's a great way to show your support for a cause that's important to you on your big day.

Oh my, I can't make this stuff up. This is just beyond my comprehension. Next, they will be asking you to send money to President Obama instead of flowers to your Aunt's Funeral. I sense desperation in President Obama's campaign.

I know a little girl who asked for her eighth birthday for everyone to make a donation to Up with Trees. I asked her how she came up with the plan and she said, "I have everything I need and I want to use my birthday to make a better world."

For some people, giving a little money to help elect Obama makes them feel the same way as the little tree lover girl.

It ain't desparation, it is a creative way to ask for money. That is what campaigns do.

You just hate Obama and don't want to like this.
Power is nothing till you use it.

I understand a little girl asking for donations to Up with Trees.

People who equate Up with Trees to any political candidate have a threaded mechanical fastener (screw) loose.

I don't hate Obama.  I just don't want him to have a second term as President of the USA.

I don't hate President Obama.  I'd drink a beer with him or match NCAA College Basketball brackets with him anytime.

I just do not prefer him to have another term as President which as a registered voter eligible to vote is my right.

I just find this very odd to ask people to make a donation to a Presidential Campaign rather than help make a new married couple get their start in the world.

It was widely reported that Mitt Romney raised more money than President Obama in May.   It has also been reported in the media by President Obama's surrogates that he may be outspent in this election cycle.   President Obama had the spending advantage in the 2008 election.  In my opinion there is panic in President Obama's camp that they may not have that advantage in this election cycle.

The crazy season has begun.

You hate Obama too. Or at least you did. Still trying to figure out how you get the nerve to call people who disagree with Obama haters.

Begun?  It's been here for three months.

My opinion?  Republicans and others are trying to justify voting for a candidate they clearly considered 'the lesser of all evils'.  Etch-A-Sketch has a hard road this summer...

You are a Recyclemichael hater.

It is a long list. It includes ex-wives, foosball players that I have beat, and owners of buffet restaurants.

How can anyone hate RM? He's the gift that keeps on giving. I see he, of all people, started a "flip flop" thread. He is utterly shameless. Most certainly:

You're weird G. In primaries everyone is critical of their opponents. Libertarians hated Romney and loved Paul. Now that their choice is Obama, the devil socialist, vs Romney the etch a sketch corporate, they lower their standards and begin to find Romney attractive. I remember RM going through the same process with Clinton and Obama. You simply cannot continue to hold primary arguments against people.

What am I saying? This is a guy who holds my name change against me! No hope for him.

RM's a big boy. He doesn't need you 'splain anything for him. And I can hold whatever is said against anyone. RM called Obama a liar, campaign cheat, and race baiter. Did those traits RM hung around Obama suddenly disappear when he became the nominee? If so, what does that say about someone and their character?

I am just picking at RM in this thread since I'm not in the mood for politician attacks right now.

It says you're weird. And guess what? I can say whatever I want to defend or attack others if the logic supports it. You are a little boy.

I'll agree with that.  Someone who uses Southpark and Beavis/Butt-head screencaps to make his point, that speaks volumes.
