RA, I was joking. Trying to shoo off people from Bixby's hidden gem. And you are right, Jay's kicks aquaman.

Not to worry, no one here would venture that far south anyway.

I'm still a fan of Tally's breakfast.  I went to BBD once and thought it was vastly overrated.  Just my opinion though.

Mrs. C and I think they are pretty much the same, quicker service at Tally's.

Tally's is close to home, isn't it? Geebus, I'd watch crossing Yale over there on your bikes. What did you do to get such a low priority for repaving?

I dunno.  The pavement has sucked on Yale from 31st to Admiral for as long as I can remember.  Just like Harvard from about 45th to Admiral.  Seems to follow me around ;)

for those with low observational skills (myself included)

BDD : Blue Dome Diner

To get a little more off topic since I guess we are bored talking about the Blue Dome...I wouldn't call Apple Barrell a hidden gem, its more of a "place" that makes decent food...the potatoes are boxes, beans canned and not much is "homemade" as the sign says, I called them out on it once and they said "it was close enough"...ya..not really...

You've never had canned beans or instant mashed potatoes at  home?

Yale is fine from 15th to 21st.

A mile each direction on Yale is torn up because of the heavy dump trucks leaving Expo Square. They use Yale to go to the nearest expressway. The trucks never drive between 15th and 21st.

Apparently Sager owns the name Blue Dome Diner, so the relocated BDD will have to take a different name. He won't say what's going in there. With the use of the word "I'm" does that mean this place will be vacant for the next decade?
Quote"I'm going to take off part of the face of the building to create a covered outdoor dining space," Sager said. "We will do some cool stuff."

You are correct. it was easier than trying to insert that the road was actually pretty good between 15th & 21st and re-done between 36th & 31st.  The remainder back to 41st is like the Ho Chi Minh Trail.

Why would someone make instant mashed potatos (I like the "E" Mr Vice President) or canned green beans at home before the Apocalypse?
