It was reported this last week that our friendly partners in controlling world peace, Germany has purchased with our bogus dollars the gun manufacturing industries in Arkansas and are going to increase production of guns.  In the past they have shown superiority in the production of articles of war. We have established the precedence of prosecuting their leaders as criminals after WWII.  Our sitting president is leaning toward gun control. Is it possible in the near future we will be instructed to throw our guns in the recycling bins left down at the end of the street?  Is this a long drawn plan of men and mice?

Today we stand in ecstasy and view that we build today'
Tomorrow we will enter into the plea to have it torn away.

I don't believe you.

Please show a link that a German company has purchased an Arkansas gun manufacturer. Next, show any reference that President Obama has offered any restrictions on gun ownership.

Your foolish ramblings entertain us, but none of us take anything you say seriously.

There's a news story, Michael, that says Walther is locating some manufacturing to Arkansas. That's sensible since they were being marketed by Smith and Wesson here in the US.  There's no mention of whether that arrangement will continue.  Walther pistols are prized by law enforcement, and their line of target pistols is world class.

Umarex will also have space in the same facility as Walther.  They're known for some high quality air guns, and supply products to various other manufacturers, including: RWS, Walther, Hämmerli, Beretta, Smith & Wesson, Browning, Heckler & Koch, Ruger, Desert Eagle, RAM and Colt.

Both Walther and Umarex are owned by PW Group of Germany.

There are no credible instances of the Obama administration advocating for tighter gun control regulations.  Every reference I could find came from some breathless NRA member with a blog and an over-active imagination.

Most of you here know I'm a leftie (to some extent, many of my views are centrist).  Many of you also know I'm a pretty big 2A advocate.

I love watching all the gun owner forums I frequent and watching the resident tards screech about how Obama is coming to take their guns.  There hasn't been one iota of even a sliver except for teatardist conspiracy theories.

Hell, if anything, Obama has been good for the gun industry.  The amount of guns purchased on Black Friday this year took down NICS (National Instant Criminal Search) for most of the day.  Ammo manufacturers love it too.  I have a hard time finding .45 ACP in the brand and bundling I want (although 9mm is still pretty plentiful).

I currently own two handguns, and am looking to buy a third (likely a scatter-gun).  I don't buy them to exude my manhood, I buy them because I now have a Handgun License (formerly known as concealed carry license) and want to know that if I'm out and about with my disabled mother, if some asshat decides to play the averages, that I'll have my back and my mother's back.  The scatter-gun will be for home defense.

Besides, in order to do anything to restrict gun use, wouldn't the dems (the main ones 2A advocates worry about) have to have a majority to get anything through the House?

I don't see it happening.  I wouldn't be surprised to see some sort of restrictions down the line as it regards to certain magazine sizes, but I've never really been a big fan of a M&P 3.5" barrel handgun with a 30 round magazine.  If you're not able to get the job done with the 12 round mag provided, you're obviously doing it wrong.

Germany, for some reason has produced super intelligent citizens.  They dwell on the fact we are a nation composed of immigrants without a race. The articles define "a group from Germany" were purchasers and assemblers of the manufacturing industry.

You're aware that some of us here have German roots, don't you?

I thought you said you were Polish.

I'm 1/2 Polish.

Poland WAS Germany/Prussia at one time.  My great-grandmother's mother (yes, my Great-great-grandmother) immigrated from there and moved to a farm in Blue Earth, MN.

I'm proud to be called a French/Sioux/Cherokee/Scottish/British/Polack.  It's probably the LEAST offensive of things people have called me.

;D

The borders moved around and so did the names of the countries.  My grandmother's (my father's side) parents were from near the Polish-German border but definitely had a Polish surname.  My father's dad (my grandpop, obviously) was born in SE Poland by today's borders.  My mom's heritage is British Isles.  Mostly northern England, southern Scotland.

I have nothing against Native Americans so it must be the French in you that makes you so objectionable.   ;D

I'm half Polish and half German and half Serbian and half Scotch-Irish.  I let the Polish half do the math.

In other words, I'm an American.

I have some Scotch in me too but I have sometimes been told to say Scotish.   ;D

Do you like blends or single malts?

Every nation, and every race has it's share of "super intelligent citizens." The people to fear are those that spend their time touting their superiority, yet blaming others for their problems.

Some of my family is from Germany, some from Hungary.  Unfortunately most of us lie in ashes or mass graves in the European soil because the "super intelligent citizens" felt they needed someone to blame for various income inequality issues. The way it starts is always the same.

This year will go down in history. For the first time, a civilized nation has full gun registration. Our streets will be safer, our police more efficient, and the world will follow our lead forward into the future! – Adolph Hitler [1935] The Weapons Act of Nazi Germany.

Germans who wish to use firearms should join the SS or the SA – ordinary citizens don't need guns, as their having guns doesn't serve the State. – Heinrich Himmler

Armed people are free. No state can control those who have the machinery and the will to resist, no mob can take their liberty and property. And no 220-pound thug can threaten the well-being or dignity of a 110-pound woman who has two pounds of iron to even things out ... People who object to weapons aren't abolishing violence, they're begging for rule by brute force, when the biggest, strongest animals among men were always automatically "right." Guns ended that, and a social democracy is a hollow farce without an armed populace to make it work. – L. Neil Smith (from The Probability Broach)

When attacked by a mob of clowns, always go for the juggler.

So I came back to this to re-read it.

The first time I read it, I thought "Man, this makes Shadows come off as a severely dumbassed crazy person.  I think I'll come back and take another look later."  You know, give it a little more thought.

Shadows, you are coming off as a severely dumbassed crazy person.
