Refrigerated beer is for wusses.

Ya right. Unless you drink Guinness. Cause it tastes bad hot or cold.  ;D

Sauerkraut?  That sounded as crazy as Sauerkraut.

Hmm...I'm not a big fan of Guinness either.

It's called a stout but it tastes nothing like a stout. Try an Old Rasputin and a Guinness side by side. It's like eating a steak then a leaf of lettuce.

Yep, an Imperial Stout will be a lot bolder than a regular stout.

I tried. Really I did. But I just couldn't get the hang of the taste and why every one thought it was a right of Beer passage to drink it.
I even bought a six of the cans that dropped a co2 cartridge in it to make it taste like draft beer. What a crock that was. Took me two weeks to get through the rest of the beers. And I gave two of them away.

Bingo.  Comparing a regulor Stout and an Imperial Stout is like comparing a Pale Ale to an IPA - it all beer, but with very different flavor profiles.

I was terrorized by those last St. Patrick's Day.

Cellar temperature (approx 50 deg F) is about right for many good beers.  In this part of the world in the summer, that is refrigerated.  Ice cold is too cold.  The flavors and aromas are trapped.  In the case of MillerCoorsBud light, it doesn't matter.

OK, bad comparison. But it's still a poor, poor stout.  That jet black color just doesn't reconcile with the complete lack of flavor.

If it's still $3 at Crystal Pistol, I'd drink it there. But it's not worth much more than that.

I think the Bros review on Beeradvocate sums it up.
QuoteMouthfeel: Same nitro mouth feel but very, very thin and watery.

Drinkability: This beer has been dumbed down so much it is like drinking water. There are far better stouts than this.
