Inteller reports more good news for his neighborhood. Pei Wei and Moe's "something" coming in front of Target. Sill not sure what is going on in front of Lifetime Fitness, except the rumor of Buffalo Wold Wings.
Someone get Hoss a pacifier.

Was that really billed as "Utica Square South" when that neighborhood was marketed?

If so, it was given to them real hard.

Here is the development for Lifetime.  Several restaurants planned.

I've never seen this eatery or retail store called "Signage" before.  Wonder what they do....

You had me at "Marshall's"

Ever notice how "Emergency Phone" is the most popular name for a run at ski resorts?

I would like cow or horse pasture in front of Lifetime Fitness.

"Someone" should be allowed/forced to connect the WalMart lot to the traffic light at the south end of the Lifetime Fitness area.   Then the cuts through Memorial between 111th and the next light north should be closed off.  Those cuts are a serious accident waiting to happen.

After looking at the site plan I have to ask, is there such a thing as a dry pond? I mean yeah I know you can have a dry pond during a drought, but is it really necessary to mark the ponds on the site plan as "Wet Pond"

???

QuoteDescription
Wet ponds (a.k.a. stormwater ponds, wet retention ponds, wet extended detention ponds) are constructed basins that have a permanent pool of water throughout the year (or at least throughout the wet season). Ponds treat incoming stormwater runoff by allowing particles to settle and algae to take up nutrients. The primary removal mechanism is settling as stormwater runoff resides in this pool, and pollutant uptake, particularly of nutrients, also occurs through biological activity in the pond. Traditionally, wet ponds have been widely used as stormwater best management practices.

There was a Moe's southwest grill two miles up the street. It sucked and it closed. Surely no-one is dumb enough to just repeat the same thing.

From Saturday's Tulsa World:

QuoteDevelopers of The Vineyard on Memorial, a 20-acre development on Memorial Drive between 106th and 109th streets, have begun construction on the $9 million, 50,000-square-foot retail center, set to be finished in two phases at the end of this year and early 2014.

Tenants announced for The Vineyard include New Orleans-based restaurants La Crepe Nanou and The Wine Loft, a second location for healthy meal provider My Fit Foods, Riviera Tan and Sport Clips.

Steve Wright, head of the ownership organization South Tulsa Development Group, which has several partners, said they're hoping to bring additional upscale concepts to the area.

"We wanted to bring in tenants that are unique to Tulsa," he said.

Plans for the 20 acres include seven office buildings ranging from 10,000 to 14,000 square feet in the southwest part of the lot, as well as additional retail space to the south of the retail center currently under construction. Wright said he's hoping to bring in a large national anchor tenant for the additional retail development. These plans don't have a timeline.

South Tulsa Development Group also plans to sell five plots closest to Memorial for restaurant development, though not to just anyone.

"We're holding those out for fine dining restaurants," he said. "We've turned down some fast-food concepts."

The group has already sold one outparcel, though he did not identify the tenant.

Additionally, the organization has sold property to Children's Learning Adventure, a Phoenix-based chain of child-development facilities. John Rupe, president and CEO of Rupe Building Co., the general contractor for The Vineyard on Memorial, said Children's Learning Adventure will construct a 25,000-square-foot center soon.
