I noticed they tore down the old Shell station at 61st and Yale - does anyone know what's going in it's place??

I vote for an In-n-Out Burger!

Won't happen.  Not anytime soon.  Likely a CVS.  It seems like that's what is going in when a corner Shell station gets razed.

In_Tulsa

I know it's going to be a restaurant.

I know it will be a building of some sort, and the building will be separated from the street by a parking lot.

I think we will find out soon. That shell station has been losing money for a long time.

They also tore out the Shell Station at 15th and Main St and pulled out the tanks. Interesting.

I was kinda wondering how many shell stations were left. I can only think of 41st and yale off the top of my head.

Only so long you can make money charging 10c more than the competition.

I believe 41st & Yale is Ethanol free
There's are also Shell stations at 36th & Harvard, and 31st & Sheridan

81st & Harvard and 36th & Harvard are two more.  There may be one on Peoria south of I-44, can't remember at the moment.

Also, I think the C-store at the west end of the 21st Street bridge at Jackson is a Shell retailer, along with a few other independent C-stores in the metro.

31st and Memorial I think also.  Don't you guys remember the retailer who got busted for price gouging during the ice storm?

There are two in Owasso as well. On one the east side of 169 on 86th and one on the west side at 76th.

I don't know how they've stayed in business because even their real gas is more expensive than others but, unfortunately, my car LOVES their 91. All other real 91 causes my check engine light to come on and my car runs like crap on ethanol laced gas.

Quiktrip has ethanol free pumps at their store where the old Camelot was.  If it's convenient, you might give them a try.
