The gravel parking lots For Sale sign has been removed and 2 houses were demolished. Any idea what may be going in or plans for the property?

Here's some info I was able to dig around and find:

Two homes on two different lots were razed. According to the assessor's website, both properties were recently purchased by Timothy & Alice Hewett. Two demolition permits were issued on February 17.

1. 3108 E 15th St
    Google Street View: http://goo.gl/7Jr2Xh
Tulsa County Assessor page for this property: http://goo.gl/08Fmb5

2. 1507 S Florence Ave
    Google Street View: http://goo.gl/zRpVkW
Tulsa County Assessor page for this property: http://goo.gl/J5gFwW

After more Googling, I found out there is a Timothy Hewett, President of ABC Equipment Rental at 2910 E 15th St--approx 1.5 blocks west of these two properties.

FYI, I heard that ABC rental is going to pave these lots, fence them, and use them as a storage yard for rental machinery.  Disappointing use of highly visible land.   Undecided

Very disappointing. The homes that were there were eye sores themselves, but the last thing needed is another ABC Rental property. Hopefully they will try and make it more attractive than the aluminum office building they just built.

Hopefully a temporary use.  This stretch of 15th has never taken off like its counterpart further west even though it has some great local businesses (but lacks bars/restaurants).  Nice neighborhoods on both sides too.  A streetscape would be nice to see here since it is mostly pretty walkable even in its current state.  This doesn't help though.

The restaurant is going in at the corner of 15th and Gary, just a block west of Merritt's in that Florence Park strip center. Luna Bread used to be there. The new place should open in April and be called Florence Park Cafe.
