My little Silky Yorkie woke me up around 2 am barking at nothing, then again several times over the next hours. I couldn't get back to sleep and felt the 4.2 hit at 3:43am. Felt like someone jumped on my roof.

We may need to look at earthquake insurance.

Am I tripping? Did I just feel another one at 9:15?

I guess I missed it......!!!!

Apparently, my threshold is around 4.2 to 4.4 the latter one lasting about 5 seconds or more. My Silky Yorkie on the other hand is my early warning system. Dumb but sensitive. Going to feed him well.

I don't fear earthquakes since we seldom have any damage here in OK. But I do fear that the local TV stations may start to cover them like they do the weather with updates every 10 minutes and special apps for our phones.

From the Whirled:

The U.S. Geological Survey has reported 13 earthquakes in Oklahoma since 10 p.m. Saturday night.
The largest, a 4.4 magnitude quake, was reported at 9:09 a.m. in Logan County near Marshall, Okla.

Thank you. Looks like there were 52 earthquakes worldwide in the last 24 and we had over 20% of them.

The one around 1:50 or 1:55am today shook my house -- near downtown Tulsa.  I haven't noticed any of the other recent earthquakes.

The one right before 2 in the morning woke me up.  Must have slept through the later one.  I popped online in the morning to check the news and see if there were any earthquakes reported and only saw the one near OKC that was not at 2am.  Was like, I know I wasn't imagining it so went to the USGS gov site and sure enough there was a decent sized one around 2 in the morning in another part of Oklahoma.  Last one I felt everyone was like, "naaa, you couldn't' have felt it, must have been a large truck or something" and I was like, "I know it was that earthquake and I did feel it lol".  At least others felt this one in Tulsa as well.

I didn't feel a darn thing- However if quakes are happening it seems to me they can do a lot of damage to homes- our homes are not designed for quakes or ground movement and foundations can crack.

Impossible to tell at my office.  There is so much heavy equipment and trucks moving up and down W. 41st street in front of my office, the building shakes quite a few times every day.  I don't even notice it much of the time anymore.

Sometimes the big boiler here at the office does the same.
